Summary

Purpose: If users want to learn more about Dagster or community members want to share Dagster resources, they can easily find all the tech talks, podcasts and community meetings on this resources page.

This diff is the first step: Put all the Dagster contents on one page as a list under the community section on the docs site: docs.dagster.io/community/resources

Next steps:

  1. Add video thumbnails and move the resources center to dagster.io.

Since dagster.io can use embed.ly to directly render video preview without adding images, so moving this resources center from docs site to dagster.io can achieve better visual and save space.

  1. Re-organize the resource center. Each content will have its individual section, including speaker bio, creating date and detailed description. Under resources center:
    • blogs
    • community show case (community member standalone videos)
    • release events (some users are interested in seeing how far Dagster has come over the last year)
    • podcasts
    • tech talks
Test Plan

run localhost:3001/community/resources

Looks good so far! Sending it back to your queue for "Add video thumbnails and move the resources center to dagster.io."

I think we should change the format to put the date after the talk name and the speaker name. Would be nice to also include talk duration and richer descriptions, esp mentioning maybe what deployment options or integrations are showed off, whether the talk includes a live demo or is more abstract, etc

This revision now requires changes to proceed.Feb 9 2021, 3:01 AM
